At the early age
of seven, Dee Jones began shining God’s Light through
song. Her
uncle’s singing group, Cliff Mason and The Gospel
Truths, recruited her as their youngest member.
Traveling with a singing family, community choirs,
singing competitions and appearances on the Christian
Broadcasting Network, ABC-Family and local television
has prepared Dee for her calling in music
ministry.
Dee Jones is founder and
president of Dee Jones Ministries, Inc. Her company was
formed for the soul purpose of spreading the gospel of
Jesus Christ through music and evangelism. Through this
music ministry, Dee produced her first solo album
entitled Light Your World, which was nominated
for Gospel CD of the Year by Unity Productions in New
York in 2004.
Her debut CD continues to sell locally and
internationally, including Canada, Japan, Hawaii and the
United Kingdom via private distribution and the Internet

Dee ministers in religious and
secular venues. She has appeared with numerous gospel
greats such as Andre Crouch, Larnell Harris, and Alvin
Slaughter to name a few. During the 1994
Young Messiah Tour, Dee accompanied renowned artists,
Sandi Patty, Babbie Mason, Point of Grace and the
Baltimore Symphony
Orchestra.
Her varied musical style has
graced the stages of the Washington National Cathedral,
the Lyric Opera House, St. Andrew Cathedral, Hawaii and
Ripken Stadium.
Dee performed internationally with the
VA-National Medical Musical Group as a featured artist
and choral singer.
Dee attended the University of
Maryland School of Nursing, earning a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Nursing. She also earned an Associate
Degree in Early Childhood Development from the
University of Alaska. Dee is a Professor of Nursing at
Harford Community College and charge nurse at Perry
Point VA Medical Center.
Dee’s newest ministry includes
public speaking at seminars and conferences. Topics
include “ Healing Through Music” and “Journaling From My
Heart To God”.
Dee was a guest speaker at the 101st
Annual Conference of the Maryland Nursing Association in
2004 and participated in a promotional tour with
Discovery Health Channel in 2005. No matter what
the venue, Dee is ready to share the gospel of Jesus
Christ. She states,” there is no greater joy than using
my abilities for God’s glory and spreading the gospel
through music ministry.”
Dee resides in Maryland with
devoted husband of 25 years, Sergeant First Class Wilbur
Jones Jr. (retired Army). God has blessed them with
three children and one grandson. Dee is committed
to her Lord and Savior, her family and music ministry
for which she has been called. Whatever the venue, Dee
Jones delivers a message of hope, love and encouragement
as she ministers from her soul to glorify the Almighty.
